Under the extraordinary circumstances brought about by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), it has become vitally important that Chiropractic offices stay in touch with their patients, updating them on office hours, social distancing measures, and the benefits of Chiropractic in maintaining good health. As a result, many offices are sending blast communications to their patient lists using ChiroTouch. If your clinic is using this feature, it is important to remember that in accordance with the Federal CAN-SPAM Act, all bulk e-mails must contain instructions for the recipient to unsubscribe.

To help you remain compliant with this requirement, please add the following phrase to the end of all e-mails you send:

“You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by replying to this message and including ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject line”

Failure to add unsubscribe instructions will result in your e-mail account being blocked, and your clinic will no longer be able to send e-mail communication through ChiroTouch.

In the event that you receive an e-mail reply from a patient requesting to be unsubscribed, you must check e-mail Opt Out under the patient’s demographics. This restriction is based on the Federal CAN-SPAM Act, not ChiroTouch policy, and all of our compliance is required.
